Gosford Urban Design Implementation Framework.

Working with GANSW and the Central Coast Coordinator General this project was completed at CHROFI with Tyrrell Studio. This project involved developing an ‘Urban Design Framework' for Gosford. The project aims to help shape the continued development and renewal for this regional capital, with a focus on supporting the vision of the Central Coast Regional Plan 2036. Using a place-based approach, the work capitalised on government and private sector investment in Gosford such as the new hospital, ATO offices and new apartments under construction.

By focusing on key 'places' across the city, the framework was able to identify key parts of the city to focus collaboration and investment across multiple stakeholders, avoiding silos of thinking and individual projects. This integrated response was based on extensive public and government agency consultation (both local and state). Georgina Blix was the Project Lead for this work whilst at CHROFI.
