Ravenswood School For Girls

Ravenswood School for Girls is defining their campus masterplan. This exciting next chapter will transform the campus, yet retain it’s intimate character.

The Scope

blix Architecture is currently working with world leading, positive education school Ravenswood School for Girls in Gordon, Sydney. Our role involves the design of their masterplan, embedding their visionary wellbeing approach into the campus design.

This project considers planning for change, integration of the school strategic plan, masterplan testing of significant new buildings on the site, and creating spaces that enhance student and staff wellbeing. The process has included developing an illustrated masterplan brief (building on work completed at CHROFI), staff and leadership team consultation and development of a masterplan.

blix Architecture has also designed and delivered a new TAS classroom, TAS staffrooms and student cut through. The cut through will be a positive education intervention expressing key wellbeing words students can vote on by rotating the coloured battens. Inspired by a John Olsen painting, the coloured interactive artwork is a moment of joy on the campus.
